Pickles

A pickled cucumber is commonly known as a pickle in the United States or as a gherkin in Europe. It is a cucumber that has been pickled in a brine, vinegar or other solution and left to ferment for a period of time, by either immersing the cucumbers in an acidic solution or through souring by lactofermentation.
At EDCO Food Products, Inc. our pickles are grown within 50 miles of our processing facility and processed within 48 hours of picking. Our process uses pickling cucumbers, salt, vinegar and a special mixture of spices for unique flavor.
